Mulberry County Controls - PC, Mobile & Console Guide

Mulberry County keeps its controls simple so the focus stays on atmosphere. Here is everything you need across PC, mobile and console, plus how the key survival mechanics work.

Mobile and console

  • Mobile: left on-screen stick to move, drag the right side of the screen to look, and tap the on-screen button that appears next to interactable objects.
  • Console: left stick to move, right stick to look, and the on-screen prompt button (usually A / cross) to interact.
  • Sprinting on mobile uses the dedicated run toggle; on console, click the left stick or hold the run button.

Using the flashlight

You pick up the flashlight in Chapter 2. It points where you look and is your main way of seeing outdoors at night. Crucially, the game sometimes asks you to shine it directly at a figure - for example at the end of the camping cutscene - so keep your aim ready during scripted moments.

Hiding mechanics

When the game tells you to hide, it usually means turning off a light and getting into a closet. During the Chapter 4 closet sequence you also have to play the door-holding minigame by clicking dots. Outside of scripted hides, the game is mostly on rails - you cannot freely crouch-hide everywhere.

Red square HUD markers

A red square with an exclamation mark on your HUD points to your next objective. In the pitch-dark woods and the cornfield this is the single most useful tool you have - if you are lost, rotate the camera until the marker appears and walk toward it.
